KWorld launches the ultra mini-sized USB TV tuner stick

This ultra mini-sized USB TV tuner stick from KWorld, named USB DVB-T Pico TV, is attached with a length-adjustable, detachable antenna, making it the great companion with CULV, mini laptops or regular notebooks. The extreme portability of this USB TV tuner enables users to watch digital TV and HDTV as long as they have a notebook at their hands. Besides its portability, KWorld has exclusively introduced a new software application to go with this product – TiVme. It comes with an intuitive and a graphical interface, allowing users to navigate the functions with extreme ease. Users can also customize the background for the panel or even turn it transparent.

There are other useful functions such as the parental lock, which can control the time and content of the TV that children watch. However, the only drawback for this USB Pico TV is that it only has Transport Stream (TS) and Program Stream (PS) as its main capturing formats, a little bit lacking in terms of variety of file types. On the other hand, TiVme software supports DxVA, a hardware acceleration function that enables smoother pictures while watching HDTV. Another advanced feature of this software is Live Update. It provides users the active, constant live update for the version of the software.
